Janneke de Rooij's work is selected for the Maaskant Price.
The Maaskant Price has a long tradition, and was brought by the famous architect Rotterdam H.A. 'Huig' Maaskant (1907-1977) Maaskant wanted to encourage young artists and designers in their development and the first tentative steps in professional practice. The prize is awarded biannually, and now consists of a travel grant of 3200 euro.

The final exam project of Janneke de Rooij is selected for the graduation special of Items Magazine. And will be published in Items Magazine 6 in the end of November. www.items.nl

The barmbek.tv promotion poster, Janneke de Rooij made during her internship at Anschlaege.de, won the '100 Beste Plakaten 07' award. The 100 posters will travel in an exhibition through Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
