Dezer dagen moet je, als fotograaf zijnde, opvallen om het financieel te kunnen maken. Hoe verdien je geld zonder je eigen creativiteit in te leveren? Die vraag is wat de vier fotografen van TOT zich af te vragen.
Tijdens TOT 2, zijn ze op zoek naar het antwoord door opnieuw de hele wereld van de fotografie te creeën op microniveau. In vier aparte studio’s, concurreren zij onderling, beperkt door de regels tot aan de wanhoop.
Dat is hoe ze hun commentaar geven op de hedendaagse fotografiewereld. Het publiek kiest, geheel in de traditie die hun talent laat zien, de beste.
Wij nodigen u uit om te komen naar het TOT 2 evenement.
TOT is een initiatief van 4 fotografen, allen afgestudeerden van de KABk uit Den Haag, 2010. Ze werken voor zichzelf, en bundelen hun krachten van tijd tot tijd gedurende TOT evenementen. Tijdens deze evenementen bestuderen zij, via hun werk, de wereld en hun toekomst als fotograaf.

These days you need a little notice as a photographer to make it financially. How to earn money without having your own creativity killed to commerce? That question is what the four photographers of TOT ask themselves.
During TOT 2, they’re looking for the answer by recreating the world of photography at micro level. In four separate studios, they compete among themselves, constrained by rules until despair. That’s how they give their commentary on contemporary photography market. The audience chooses, entirely in the tradition of talent shows, it’s idol.
We invite you to come to the TOT 2 event.
TOT is an initiative of four photographers, all alumni at the KABk in The Hague of 2010.
They work for themselves, and unite their forces from time to time during TOT events.
During these events they study their work, the world and their future as a photographer.
